Types of Prep-Tech Booths
Pressurised Downdraft with Metal Basement.
In it’s the PREPTEC booth wraps the component in a high volume flow of clean, warm air. Airflow from the overhead filters envelops the component and is drawn out through strategically located paint arrestors. This downdraft flow, the over spray down under the component into a pit instead of along the length of the component being sprayed.
This downdraft design is acknowledged by quality conscious painters as the best way of eliminating over spray, providing improved painter safety, and giving the best possible finish.

In these types of booth with downdraft airflow, exhaust plenum is “pit or basement which draws overspray air down through filters and then channels underground to be recycled. These exhaust systems include fans with sufficient power to move air through the system. Exhaust fan is mounted in the exhaust unit.
